3rdeyetutor is an online customised topic wise tutoring platform established in August 2023. All the teachers are experienced in their own subject, curriculum and grade level. They have gone through an interview and demo process along with criminal background check before they are onboarded onto this Tutoring platform.

HOW TO LOGIN?

You log in with your email, phone number and date of birth and valid credit card credentials. You will need a validate your account for the first time using the OTP that will be provided through your phone number. However, if you are below 18 years of age, your parent has to open the account and validate their credit card along with an essential agreement that they will honour all your class fee payments and behaviour.

PROCESS TO SEARCH FOR A SUBJECT TUTOR

Once you log in, you can contact your subject tutor directly from their tutor profile by mentioning your topic requirement. Each tutor's fees/hour will be mentioned on their profile. Or you could post an advertisement to the jobs board visible to all of your subject teachers. You could fix your fees, dates and timings in this advertisement and send your request. If your requirement suits tutors, they will message you back and discuss further.

You do not share your personal email ids and phone numbers with the tutors or make any private arrangements with them, failing which the platform will be forced to suspend your account immediately with no refunds.

HOW TO MAKE PAYMENTS?

Once you get a class schedule link from the teacher, you need to prepay for that class duration amount agreed with the tutor along with a GST current 18% amount on each class payment and then confirm the class. These payments are processed by our current payment gateway (Phonepe) which charges 1.9% commission and the remaining is sent to our bank account.

MISSED CLASSES

Once your have paid, there is no refund of fees for any missed class from the student's side. However, the student could request for a class reschedule and it is left to the discretion of the tutor whether he/she may reschedule the class or not. In case, the teacher agrees to reschedule then there will be a deduction of 25% of fees in the first missed class and 50% in the case of second missed class. From the 3rd missed class, the tutor cannot reschedule the class and the student will get zero refund whatever be the emergency situation. If there is an error on the teacher or 3rdeyetutor site, the teacher will report for a reschedule or a refund whichever seems mutually agreeable.

It is not necessary, that the tutor is available on the site or has access to all your messages or communication all the times and hence your cancellation or reschedule requests may not be read by the tutor and so your missed class will not be refunded as per 3rdeyetutor website rules and regulations. Such late cancellations are treated as a normal class by all the teachers and they will be charged as a missed class. Repeated short notice cancellations both by the student and the teacher are considered unprofessional. It not only affects the student's morale but also the teacher's motivation. Therefore, professionalism is always important. In short, missing classes especially without prior notice is not allowed on 3rdeyetutor platform.

CLASS RECORDINGS

All the classes will be recorded and stored for a period of time. Students can download the recordings for their future revisions.

RESCHEDULING/CANCELLING CLASSES

Classes could be rescheduled by the subject tutor at his/her discretion up to a maximum of 2 classes per student per academic year due to any sort of emergency. 3rdeyetutor does not involve into this arrangement as it does not encourage missing or cancelling of classes by either party.

ACADEMIC INTEGRITY

3rdeyetutors are strictly not allowed to indulge into any form of activities that compromise the academic integrity of educational values and morals like writing assignments, doing homework for students, solving their graded question papers and projects, solving answers to their questions etc. If you find out any tutor involved or student asking this on this site, you are requested to report it to us. We will suspend them immediately if we find any evidence to this effect.

DO'S and DONT'S ON 3RDEYE TUTOR WEBSITE

Sharing of phone numbers, emails or other personal media details along with setting up private arrangements with the teachers/students are strictly not allowed at any point of time on this site. Students and teachers are expected to be professional and formal at all times. The sessions are recorded and these videos, images cannot be shared to anyone or in public. Dress etiquette, background images and visible screen environment must be appropriate at all points of time. The Camera must be on throughout the session duration (CAMERA OFF- NO CLASS- NO REFUND). You need to have a stable internet connection for all the tutoring sessions on 3rdeyetutor site.

COMPLAINTS / CONCERNS

If you have any concerns or complaints with respect to anything that is not solvable by your tutor, do write to along with the relevant evidence. We will get back to you as soon as possible to resolve the issue.

HOW TO CHANGE YOUR ACCOUNT SETTINGS?

Your name and email address that you have registered cannot be changed. However, you have an option to change your password and phone number settings from your profile tab. You can also DELETE your account if you wish. Click on the DELETE button and CONFIRM it once again to delete it. Once deleted permanently you cannot open this old account anymore. Remember, you cannot delete the account, until you clear all your due payments to 3rdeyetutor site (if any).

Any updates to the Student Guide will be loaded onto the 3rdeyetutor website periodically. It is the student's duty to keep himself or herself informed about any updates.
